Dear friends! We are very glad to present to you our new project - GayStuff! It is the first community for sensual gay fashion and style in Second Life!

Using the same symbolism that has become so successfully associated with MHO family of fashion groups and hunts, the double astrological sign for Mars was chosen to symbolise GayStuff, and to help identify those designers who are supportive of the GayStuff concept and its ability to bring gay community together.

We believe that it is unfair when designers create and promote sensual and leather stuff, special silk & underwear, special furniture and different kinds of equipment and attachments for gay people are not fully represented on a fashion market. Also many fashion groups may be embarassed to represent them as well. Meanwhile they make the secret fantasies of thousands of people around the world come true!

We invite all designers who would like to be part of our new project to fill up our application and send it to Vic Zuzu. We also invite bloggers to repost this new initiative and help spread the word.

Hey guys! :D Yeah, I forgot about my blog at all. Who knows why, maybe because I am a good guy now (if you are ready to believe in that). ^^ No drama, no scandals, no gossips, no nothing, just baking fucking cookies. But when I open Marketplace and see something like this:

I mean, of course I wouldnt be suprised to see something like that on the cover of "BOSL magazine" but on the main page of the Marketplace? O_O My friends told me they saw the same and some of them believe that if you would pay good money they would put just anything on the main page. That guy decided to show all 3 his outfits: 3 shirts, two eyes, one collar, one necklace and one hair. WOW, thats hot and cool, cool and hot. :D I wonder whats his name? He might be so famous now! =)

Following on the success of Make Him Over, we hope Make Her Over will be a wonderful opportunity for designers of female couture to promote their creations and brands, and for fashion lovers to access leading edge high quality female and unisex fashion. Using the same symbolism that has become so successfully associated with Make Him Over, the astrological sign for Venus was chosen to symbolise Make Her Over, and to help identify those designers who are supportive of the MHO concept and its ability to bring designers and fashion buyers together. We invite all designers who would like to be part of this new initiative to make contact with Vic Zuzu.

Each hunt, as a tradition, we create a special advertising campaign with people who love the idea of MHO family hunts. This time we have two simple concepts for this campaign: Boys and Girls who like them. These are a variety of people who are willing to share their real stories with you! Each story is the unique destiny of a person who came into the World called Second Life. Each day before the hunt, we are going to post on our blog one AD and the story of one person and send it through our group. We chose people of absolutely different backgrounds for the campaign: members of our group, models, designers, officers, and other persons who support the idea of MHO family hunts! Official Statement concerning "Menstuff" case

The management of the MAKE HIM OVER II Golden edition community, de facto official assignee of the first Make Him Over group, received information that organizers of «Menstuff» business (Rob1977 Moonites and Ivy Maverick) publicly accused the President of MHOH Foundation, owner and managing director of the community, owner and managing director of Make Her Over and Make Home Over groups, fashion expert, journalist and critic Vic Zuzu of "…constant slander against them".

They have publicly stated that more than 8,000 members of the MAKE HIM OVER II Golden edition community are "…silly fans of Vic Zuzu" and "…theft henchmen".

They have also publicly accused the MAKE HIM OVER II Golden edition community designers of "…low quality gifts" and claiming that "…the hunt designers are nobodys!".

All those accusations are causing great distress to the business reputation of MAKE HIM OVER II Golden edition management, including Vic Zuzu and the MAKE HIM OVER II Golden edition designers, members and bloggers; all of which is affecting the Make Him Over Hunt 6 negatively.

This is not the first attempt that the «Menstuff» organizers have made in accusing Vic Zuzu of stealing or lying. In 2010 Ivy Maverick took control of the old empty group of Make Him Over and wrote a statement in the group profile page advertising for «Menstuff», and claiming that Vic Zuzu is a skin ripper.

In Ivys interview to her friend Lanai Jarrico she claimed that she owned Make Him Over and illegally used it for her new business stating…

"The owners of MHO had a big fight and ejected 10K people from their group. We do not want to use the same name. I own the group, but we are just using it to bring people to Menstuff. We don’t have MHOII that is the group that Vic is using. This is about money for him".

At the same time, the organizers of "Menstuff" started to contact, and in some cases threaten designers (including Redgrave) who entered MAKE HIM OVER II Golden Edition community group (The Following are statements made on behalf of the «Menstuff» staff):

"Hello, I just noticed that you have places an illegal MAKE HIM OVER group joiner at Redgrave. Not sure if you are aware of this? Please view the official "MAKE HIM OVER" group covenant for information about the new group. Vic Zuzu has been trying to hi-jack this brand, abuse has been reported and an IP case will be opened soon, in the mean time it’s shocking to see that some reputable brands such as Redgrave seem to not be aware of Vic's dramas and attempt to steal the Make Him Over group members into a new illegal group - Please remove the group joiner from Redgrave".

"You are a amazing I love your work. Let me think of where to start. I notice you are in the MHOH2 group. A friend and myself last night before the group was let go due to drama issues had this idea we would start a new MHOH. So we did, it's called Menstuff. It has now 244 members. 30 of those who are staff. I was wondering if you would like to join? What sets us apart from MHOH2 is we are using our own name and logo. As well the group is planning a hunt and a fair in the future. It's free to join and designers get notice rights".

"Content Theft is content theft! Any designer who associates with him is condoning these illegal acts. Vic Zuzu had NOTHING to do with the original Make Him Over Hunts or group but he's appointed himself as Make Him Over's successor and usurped its intellectual property. Vic creates nothing except drama. The rightful successor group is Menstuff, created by Robb1977 Moonites and Ivy Maverick".

«Menstuff» organizers have been making relentless attempts towards damaging the business reputation of Vic Zuzu, the MAKE HIM OVER II Golden edition management, designers, members, bloggers, DJs and participants. We want to say enough is enough!

We must inform and assure Second Life society in next:

1. According The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution as a part of the Bill of Rights, each person has a Right of "freedom of speech, or of the press". Vic Zuzu, as a journalist, has a Right to make his own point of view on his own blog based on evident and covered proofs. Vic Zuzu has never transferred his point of view on other sites and blogs, never forced any person to take his point of view as one possibility.

2. Vic Zuzu has never broken any point of the Terms of Service and Community standards of Second Life during his staying in Second Life.

3. MAKE HIM OVER II Golden edition community de facto own Make Him Over and Make Him Over Hunt (5, 6 and all further) names and brands according official statement "Save MHOH" (12.20.2010) since no other groups or people had officially declared their rights on those names in Second Life. Make Him Over was never registered as a trade mark.

4. MENSTUFF is a trademark, which is owned by Clay, Gordon in San Anselmo, CA, 94979. Gordon Clay own MENSTUFF trademark since 2005. The USPTO (the United States Patent and Trademark Office) has given the MENSTUFF trademark serial number of 78424521. The current federal status of this trademark filing is REGISTERED. The correspondent listed for MENSTUFF is Larry D. Johnson of PO Bo..., Celeb...,. The MENSTUFF trademark is filed in the category of "Online newsletters in the field of men's issues and community services".

5. According to USA law, the Lanham Act, §1114 (1): "Any person who shall, without the consent of the registrant: (a) use in commerce any reproduction, counterfeit, copy, or colorable imitation of a registered mark in connection with the sale, offering for sale, distribution, or advertising of any goods or services on or in connection with which such use is likely to cause confusion, or to cause mistake, or to deceive; or (b) reproduce, counterfeit, copy, or colorably imitate a registered mark and apply such reproduction, counterfeit, copy, or colorable imitation to labels, signs, prints, packages, wrappers, receptacles or advertisements intended to be used in commerce upon or in connection with the sale, offering for sale, distribution, or advertising of goods or services on or in connection with which such use is likely to cause confusion, or to cause mistake, or to deceive, shall be liable in a civil action by the registrant for the remedies hereinafter provided".

Due to these facts, despite our attempts to find a compromise, the «Menstuff» business organizers in Second Life, who act under the nicknames of Rob1977 Moonites and Ivy Maverick, have not left any chance for us to solve this situation. We already informed the following people and bodies on the list below about the trademark and intellectual property infringement:

1. We informed Mister Gordon Clay and his lawyers in California.

2. We informed Trademarks and Service marks California Secretary of State Debra Bowen.

3. We informed United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

4. We informed the Linden Research, Inc.

According demands of Mister Gordon Clay lawyers the «Menstuff» page on Facebook is already closed. Right now they have negotiations with iPage, Inc. about hosting for the illegal site of «Menstuff» and are preparing an official letter with demands to Linden Research, Inc.

This information will be useful for those designers and members of «Menstuff» who still support their illegal activity.

My style in both RL & SL is inspired by Art, Nature, The Streets alternative subculture, non-conventional thinking, vintage, tribal and ethnic costumes. Make Him Over at SL8B Exhibition!

The main event of the year - Second Life 8th Birthday (SL8B) Exhibition take place from June 20th to July 2th 2011, and Make Him Over is taking part in the celebrations! We're using it as an opportunity to introduce our community to different people and explain what we're all about. Make Him Over demon

Of course I could choose angel outfit but who in SL would ever believe that Vic Zuzu is an angel, even deep inside? :D I found this awesome costume at Opium store by very friendly designer Leinad Constantine. He has two variants: classic red and black with gold. And when I see black and gold it reminds me only Make Him Over firm style! =) Its just awesome and very quality as you can see by means of detailed pictures! ^^ The pack also includes horns (along with shape, skin, eyes and all that) but they are sort of small for me, so I choosed big one from Wasabi Pills. For decorations I used king throne from Egoisme by Ramses Meredith that includes incredible dragon statue! By the way he changed the style of his store sim and started to make new stuff under a couple of new brands, so go and check it! =)

Yeah, he promised to blog something and another post appeared only 3 weeks later! Haha Anyway when Giz Seorn from Gizza creations showed me this awesome pants all I could say is WOW! Why? Because I saw very few stuff in SL with national fleur if you know what I mean, and these pants have reminded me some turkish costume since designers of Gizza are from Turkey! =) I think its very good when designers use their national culture as an inspiration to make new stuff. At last I can show you something from INDI store by very friendly designer Jamie Holmer, it is one of the most quality stores in SL! Mostly she sell complete sets which might be good for customers but not for stylist who is trying to avoid original set influence! :D In general I believe you can use any red V-neck shirt you want, because you see only part of it that fits the hat and gloves. Also I promised to show small parts closer, so here you go - awesome Mandala piercing! =)

I know, I know, I didnt write long time, Make Him Over eat all my time! Hehe But I promise to do it more often! =) So lately I checked my blog and figured out I did miss something, and then I got that it was formal suits! How could I forget about formal?! OMG! :D I guess I missed it because I like to mix different stuff more than just put it as it was on the vendor! =) Anyway, today I want to show you wedding formal suit (or how you call it?) for guys! Personally I am not going to marry anyone in SL (like duh), but it doesnt mean I didnt prepare for that! Haha In my SL I was invited for weddings just a couple of times and I never liked what grooms wear! I mean in both lifes everyone is looking first of all what the bride is wearing you know, and grooms usually wear something standart I would say. There are very few stores in SL who make nice wedding outfits for guys, and they usually choose not the best one. So one of the best one is of course Aoharu, cost 700 L$. Expensive - yes! But weddings usually happen only one time so choose the best outfit for that! =) Aoharu offers you white and black variants of english wedding dress coat! We call it english because french dress coat has bowtie instead of so called ascot tie. Very often to choose right accessories for the wedding outfit is the second biggest problem for guys. I mean first of all hair, shoes and jewelry. Its true, there are not so many formal hairs for guys in SL, but you can find one classy at Colors! Along with nice hair you can try to use top hat from G&T by friendly designer Greenie Lane, I think it looks gorgeous with the suit! =) Better to use top hat with hairbase! (I guess its the first time when I use it =) What I dont like is when guys use all in one colour, like white suit, white gloves, white shoes etc. I like to repeat that shoes can be any colour you want, so here I used silver one from Redgrave! =) I noticed that usually I dont show details of small stuff like rings, so here you can see it, the nice ring from Rozoregalia close up! ^^ And of course I would like to congratulate my friends - Llumas Xenno and Tasmin Devin - with their wedding! Wish you all the best and many kids! :D Very soon I will show you wedding car so stay tuned!

The aviator

So far I saw only aviator shades and today I found aviator jacket at Gizza store by friendly turkish designers Giz Seorn and Auster Elan, so decided to make aviator outfit! =) Raph Dirval from Gentleman store kindly sent me this awesome aviator glasses when I asked guys from Make Him Over fashion group where can I find nice one. Hehe. Usually I dont use watches much in my outfits, maybe because I dont like to wear them in RL since dont understand what time is it (unless it says directly - 2:32 for instance :D), but this time I thought that such guy like aviator should have one from Steinwerk store by friendly designer Aveline Stein. Shoes are from Hoorenbeek. ^^ I was trying to put on Redgrave aviator boots but they are more blue, than black.

His Majesty Emperor Zuzu

Usually I dont play in role games in SL since I became boring too fast, but I remember when I was playing on one RP dedicated to ancient China! =) I was Emperor of Tang Empire. Hehe. Did you know its sorta not easy to find a chinese costume? Of course we have Barerose store, but she have japanese stuff mostly. ^^ So I found a nice store by friendly chinese designers Stone Ryba and Alial Allen who sell ancient chinese and some other costumes! =) I think the prices for such costumes are kinda high (if compare with Barerose for instance), but it depends if they are only one who sell it. The picture looks small just because dress is huge, it has a long part from the back, like a gown! So if you really want to look like an Emperor, this is a best choice! =) At last I can show you this awesome Mandala necklace! Its too big for any casual outfit and design is different for daily life, so it fits the costume perfectly.

Viva La Revolucion!

This is my favourite summer style! =) I can walk like this in both worlds all the time if its warm. If its too hot you can take off your flip flops and jump into fountain! Hehe. I must say that I adore Dura hairs, but you wont find this colour at the shop, it was exclusive for me. In the same time you can find black colour, which is close to this hair texture. ^^ I guess it is one of the best long hairs for guys in SL, since its hard to build. Usually I dont use tattoos, not my style, but this time I decided to wear one from Axe by friendly designer Ericc Axon, because it fits the outfit gently. Watches are from Mischievous Cat by Hussar Ducrot, unfortunately no mod, since, as he said, the arrows wont work when tp or something. Anyway, they still look fabulous and can fit any hand. Was funny story with the bag! I was looking for a store I forgot, that sell messeger bags, the only things I could remember are design of the store (in green tones) and the stuff they sell (messenger bags with many pins and necklaces with picture of Jesus). Guys from MHO group told me it was BroGear store. I was looking at search - nothing, the store doesnt exist! Then I found their group - BroGear - that says the store is closed. Well, it never stop me, so I contact the designer Broder Kubrick by name who kindly sent me the bag (it cost just 200 L$). =) And you know what? ^^ IT WAS ANOTHER STORE! :D Still the bag is classy, too many prims though (183), but idk if its too many, if hairs have the same amount of prims or even more. ^^ I am sure you can contact him and he will send you the bag (black and brown) if you ask him kindly! ^^ Poses are from Pocket Mirrors by Alair Cortes! Personally I very seldom participate in competitions, but in this case I decided to join since Bouquet Babii, the owner, asked me! =) Vero Modero offer to compete for 40.000 L$ (20.000 to each of male and female winner) and something else. Glance agency sims were closed

Yesterday one of the Glance sims was closed down, the other one Glance style by name didnt give an access. Today Patty Cortes, the CEO, has informed fashion society about her sole deсision to close the sims of Glance covered under "changes in management's team real life timetables":

"Why? I realized lately that I spent less than 10 hours total in SL in the past 6 months, while I used to log in daily. My RL has become my first priority and is not currently compatible with managing two sims. GIA will not be affected by my decision to close the sims, we have been running GLANCE International Agency for 2 years and a half and will continue to do so for the many years to come. We are simply, dramatically cutting back our activities, due to changes in management's team real life timetables", announced Patty Cortes, GIA Founder/CEO. "We do not give up the idea to reopen GLANCE-owned sims in the future, though we are determined to only do so when our schedules will allow us to give our shoppers and vendors quality time and unique attention."

We would like to thank everybody who has been supportive throughout the past months, we received great feedbacks about the academy, the magazine, the blog, the fashion shows and the TV shows that we will of course continue to produce, only at a different pace. Thank you to all the shoppers and the designers who visited and participated in the sim and made it a fantastic shopping destination. GLANCE Style will close down permanently on Thursday 6th at 1 PM SLT. By the end of January 2011, both GLANCE sims will not be found anymore on the grid map.

2011 is synonymous with GLANCE 2.0: this year, GIA will be closer to the SL fashion designers, bloggers, and addicts. We'd like to thank everybody who took part in both sims projects and look forward to working with you in the near future.

The next GIA Fashion show will take place on January, Saturday 22nd at 1 PM. We will be showcasing the brand new collection of a veteran fashion designer. Stay tuned!

Hey guys! Me and my friend wish you a Happy New 2011 Year! :D This is my last outfit for you this year, a winter one. ^^ These jeans are from Egoisme store by very friendly and nice guy Ramses Meredith. I can say that Egoisme is a new word in SL design since he use special and unique technology to produce clothes. There are no texture borders between layouts and if there are any, you wont see them! Its pretty amazing! Plus these jeans have a crotch (not a vulgar bulge) that match them perfectly. ^^ The scarf is very quality and absolutely free, it has 10 colours, it fit the coat perfectly! The same as glasses that you can still find on the floor at Vaschwitzugenplatz sim along with other free and quality glasses. You can use any white shirt or sweater, or something under this coat, I choosed nice free shirt that you can find at Gnubie freebie store that still exist. =) In fact Grasp earring should be free too since its a group gift, but as I already wrote, to enter the group you should pay 50 L$ or something. Hard to show the ring by means of pics since its small detail, but its the quality one. =) Well it was a very long and hard year! And its almost over! Thanks heavens! BOSL lost its spanish division

A couple of hours ago Thalia Heckroth, the CEO of BOSL en Español magazine, had to declare the cooperation termination with BOSL:

"We would like to inform our readers and the Best of SL Magazine en Español group that the publication of our magazine has come to an end for the following reasons:

1. Contract gaps and largely ignored management guidelines, with those entrusted in the running of the magazine seeking to impose limitations on myself and my staff, as well as a general lack of business ethics on their behalf.

2. Substantial differences in overall approach, specifically from creative and design perspectives.

Out of respect to our Spanish Speaking community, we feel the need to let you know about the unacceptable business practices to which we have been exposed.

In the same way, we invite all designers to delete as soon as possible ALL the BOSL en Español which are currently being used illegally at this time to distribute the English edition. I also make a public invitation to Mr. Frolic Mills to honourably leave the Best of SL Magazine en Español group immediately. I am the sole owner of the Magazine name, Group and Logo which are copyrighted under the laws of the United States of America, copyright number available upon request.

Since I cant write about SL drama that sometimes surrounds my good name because of jealous losers who cause it (my fav issue ^^), for some reason for one month, and I always try to post something different from the other posts dedicated to complete outfits and costumes, I decided to write something about RL fashion. Yay! :D Please welcome, Andrej Pejic, a bright new fashion star! As I can remember the first time I saw him was the old issue cover of the Oyster fashion magazine at the Geneva airport when I was bored as hell while waiting for a next plane to Paris and some girl was read it. We were talking a bit, since I like to blab with nice people all the time, and she told me she is an editor for something (I guess it was some fashion site or blog) and she is trying to gather some information about him to write an article. ^^ He is in the middle.

Honestly, my first thought was - who is that girl? :D He is from Melburne Australia, but was born in Yugoslavia. He is only 19 y.o. and she said (I guess her name was Ann) he alredy have many shots in a leading fashion magazines. Well, at that moment and now Oyster wasnt leading magazine for me at all, maybe because in Europe we used to think about something like L’Officiel, Elle, Tatler, GQ, Burda and of course - Vogue, as leading one. Anyway I forget about that conversation and was very surprised when saw Andrej at french Vogue this september because I read only french version of Vogue ^^. I mean I can understand if it would be japanese Vogue or at least australian, but french one? I believe it is a great success! =)

Very impressive shots! We all know that unisex fashion has already won the battle with old standarts, but now we can see that it is not the final judgement. ^^ Modern fashion destroys the borders between genders too since the great influence from it on people is defining. And of course I mean first of all homo fashionistas. =) Some of designers already choosed Andrej for their shows, such as Paul Smith, John Galliano, Jean Paul Gaultier and Raf Simmons. I was thinking about the reasons besides their creativeness and then I realized that he reminds me someone. ^^

And not only because of the birthmark, which is of course the main point, but the eyes, chin, lips, cheekbones, face form and eyebrows. =) In general only nose is way different. Funny that beauty standarts are still the same in the fashion world even if they are covered under the creativeness. ^^ Btw the pictures of Andrej is way more interesting than Cindy one, her pictures are very simple. I think its because she is more the synonim of a beauty than a concept. The interesting phenomenon of so called "androgenic" (I would say "en travesti" or "angel") types of models is not new, some people believe it has appeared from the late 60s when we can talk about punk subculture that brought some chaos to the fashion between male and female clothes (better to say about unisex style here, since women start to wear pants etc.), but I am sure that Twiggy was the first androgenic model in the history. Very thin body, almost no breast, hips with fragile hands and short hair "à la garson".

There is a dilemma though in this tendency. If girls can handle androgenic (or lets just say more male) look enough long time (look at Grace Jones or Tilda Swinton for example), for boys its harder. When you are 18 y.o. boy the make up, good photographer and photoshop can create more or less androgenic look with you, but when you are 23, 25 and older, your look is changing, you have hair on your face and your chest, your skin has more fat, especially on the face etc. So such type of models is very unique and their androgenic look lasts not very long concerning boys but definitely became a trully sensation every time in the fashion industry when designers appears to have a choise to use something different when they feel their collection is something different too (and they think like this almost all the time hehe). But every boy want it or not become a man! :D The danger here from my point of view could be about psychology, because he can play this role too much and at the end will have to change his gender by means of surgery, even if he already said he wont do it since he feel the balance between his two parts - male and female. ^^

But definitely he will stop to use bright make up for his daily life when will see the beard on his angel face. ^^ He is too young to be enough professional model and keep the runway and his daily life separately, thats why he brought feminine look to his clothes. If he would like to remain in the fashion industry with his androgenic look any longer he would use the make up only at work because when you use female make up your skin became older (especially male skin). Well there is always a space to learn. ^^ At the end of the post, lets look on his funny questionnaire that I found in the one of the magazines, shall we? :D

Hey guys! :D Sorry for the long delay, was sort of busy with the MHOH, designers, parties, events, friends and stuff, but now I have some time to post new outfit! Yay! =) I just love these low rise jeans from the Beefcake by very friendly designer Tylo Mabellon. He didnt want to make another belt that never fit the mens bodies in SL and just created very cool plaque. Pink shirt was caught at Muism. I wonder why bloggers not so ofthen post stuff from the Muism store? Some things are really good! =) I was going to write that these black gloves are free since its a group gift at Grasp but he started to ask a fee to enter the group (50 L$). So its free only in a theory. ^^ This is the second time when I use HOC shoes, very quality one and by very nice price, including many colours! So go and grab! :D

OMG! And this is real British english? O_o I mean I heard British english on TV on BBC and I was watching some movies in it before, and I have heard from my friends that you wont understand it if you are not native english because its different. But once I was in Greece this summer I met a native english guy who, as he said, live in Birmingham, and he was talking much more idk "clear" maybe unlike this guy. ^^ As I can see I understand American english even with different accents more than British one. Russian accent in this video sounds just awful! =) I dont know why many americans told me that they like it and it sounds even sexy unlike German one for instance! ^^ What the hell is it on 2:40? I have never seen such costumes so far! =) If you think it is vulgar bulge between my legs you are wrong. =) Though Enzo called it just bulge, in fact we also know it as codpiece (or braguette in french) which is usual thing for late 14-16th century mens clothes. =) Usually there were two types of codpieces: 1. Bologna and 2. Egg-shaped. Plus special armour codpiece in the triangular form.

Since its autumn I would like to represent you this nice outfit! =) First of all this sweater cost only 10 L$! The Magi store by name sell all stuff for 0-20 L$ with very nice quality. I recommend to walk through Muism store since I was lazy to do it and meanwhile there are a lot of nice stuff like this bag (which has 3 animations inside) and earings by very friendly designer and owner Icemocolo Voom by name! I havnt seen this type of earings with good quality before. Pants were created by very nice and friendly designer Corocota Torok, they look awesome with bronze loafers from Redgrave. Visit his store, he has biggest collection of mens low rise pants in SL! =) Plus this hair is one of my favorite one, by very friendly and nice designer Alair Cortes. He proclame his store sell only "classic" hairs but as you can see he has some nice unisex hairs too! =)

My first outfit with bald head! =) Who said you have to wear hairs everyday? ^^ Hadnt have occasion yet to use HOC creations! ^^ That awesome store produce quality shoes, bags, glasses etc. with very low price! =) Each product have different colours and textures inside! Very friendly designer and owner of Somapop Soma Mayo by name created quality bandana only for 54 L$! Many people believe that SL their RL and in the same time as we can see many things from RL cant be transfered to SL. For instance perfume! =))) For me its hard to find quality men perfume because I dont like all that "fresh" aromas which all smells for me like Old Spice or other deodorants. I guess there is a stereotype that all men perfume must to have "fresh" aroma and all women "sweet" one. I dont like both so usually I try to find something in the middle, something special! ^^ So here is my favourite men perfume which I highly recommend! =) Most of all I prefer so called wood aromas like Kenzo Pour Homme. I call it sandal tree perfume because it has the same smell! ^^ In different countries design of Kenzo packing almost the same. The old packing was with leaf on the bottle, now its just smooth curve bottle. In the last few years they started to produce the same bottle with Kenzo engraving on it and call it "Fresh". There is very little difference between "classic" and "fresh" types in general aroma so you can buy both! ^^ Fendi Life Essence has very nice wood aroma too. I guess its the best creation of the House of Fendi which is my only one favourite brand too! =) I hope it wont be closed as Christian Lacroix house because of financial problems! ^^ Dont forget to try Gucci Pour Homme and Gucci by Gucci (spicy aroma)! If you will find the box Gucci Pour Homme with shampoo dont even think and buy it fast because its a dream for your hair! =) Also I like some citron perfume like fresh Allure Homme Sport, Fendi Palazzo and Dupont Pour Homme (kinda forget this perfume, need to try it again, maybe its not citron but wood aroma ^^). Btw from my experience many guys dont know how to use quality perfume. Never splash it on your clothes! Always on skin or hair! In other case it wont work on you because every perfume created for interaction with a skin and hair to leave a fragrant loop when perfume disappear. ^^ Have fun and tell me in comments your favourite perfume too for me to try if you have one! =)

At last I create an outfit with sneakers! =) I have thousand different sneakers and not so many ideas about how to use it! ^^ Hoodie was MHOH gift and I cant find it at store in yellow colour so you will have to use other colours from the store or just find something yellow. I guess shorts somewhere there too but I dont see it. ^^ Try to use other white shorts anyway. iPod includes 9 or something sets of music and ear phones! =) As I can see its hard to find quality men socks in SL! ^^ I found one in the Sey store (thanks to Didier Rascon). All glasses from Kumaki are very quality! You can use different colours and switch them from nose to the top of the head automatically!

It was the longest photoshoot ever! ^^ I believe we spent about 5 hours with Zeerya to take a shoot! Usually people use couple balls and studio to take it for 5 minutes but not so crazy guys like we! =) First of all we choose the sim (changed 4), then we choose the spot (changed 5), then we tried millions poses and at last we did it! Good lesson not do it again, ever! =)) If you still dont know there is a so called final sale of Armidi! I love the way they did it, they are trully professionals in a marketing sphere. ^^ The best way to sell is to keep your secrets! ^^

Long Pausch (the Chantkare designer and owner) told me that Armidi havent change their collections already 2 years! I was so surprised because even now their quality is the best and they have very popular sale now! ^^ Btw I noticed there are some stuff at sale sim that I havent seen before at main store. For instance this creme blazer for 238 L$ which I highly recommend! ^^ Also I recommend to buy first of all Classic cashmere turtleneck for 73 L$, Fi Umo sunglasses for 138 L$, Machimo sunglasses for 163 L$, Unisex Moto leather jacket for 238 L$, Classic Italia suit for 263 L$ (+ all ties for 44 L$ each), Classic Zion vest for 63 L$ and Low rise Chinos for 100 L$. Hau! ^^ This nice costume was made by Sredni Eel by name! He has two indian outfits so far. Simple one and bright one, for the tribal Chief, with many feathers! ^^ Now you can see the simple one which I like to show first. It was only tribal Chief one which has mocassins in the box. At first I was trying to find some shoes for the costume but failed because costume is very original. So I asked him to add mocassins into the White Buffalo box too. ^^ But he decided to put it separately for 200 $L. Since its not daily shoes I suggest to sell it for 150 L$ and he very suprised me when agreed! =) Btw all his creations are copy/mod! =) The hair is Avatar style, not the SL one but the Cameron one if you saw it (I havent yet ^^). I believe it looks better when you have dark skin but not blue one! Heh. Damn this blogger is annoying, look look you have a preview now, I know I know, shut up.

Mimmi Boa is a wonderful and famous model, a truly celebrity in SL! She is Miss Virtual World 2009, one of the Top 10 Most Elegant Women in SL (under the version of the Best of SL magazine), Miss Bliss 2010, 2008/2009 Nominee of the Best Model of the year contest, Miss Virtual World academy executive, Owner of the Evane model agency and Mimmi Boa modelling academy + SWMB (Salwo Waydelich and Mimmi Boa) fashion productions. Besides she is a very easy going, kind and nice person! It was a great surprise for me as her frank interview!

A couple of minutes before the interview…

Vic Zuzu: So, are you ready?

Mimmi Boa: I am always ready my dear.

Vic Zuzu: Hello Mimmi! Thank you so much for your time! It's a great honor to do an interview with such a famous and amazing model like you!

Mimmi Boa: Hello Vic and thank you for your words! I appreciate them very much!

Vic Zuzu: Ok! My first question concerns the supermodel title from your profile. Could you describe the criterion of a supermodel, and what the differences are between simple model and supermodel from your point of view?

Mimmi Boa: Well, as I usually tell to my models, in SL it is very easy to be beautiful. With some lindens you can have great skin, shape, clothes, etc; but being a supermodel does not simply mean looking beautiful! Supermodels must be unique, and when I say unique I mean first and foremost unique taste, unique shape, unique look, and unique attitude! You can buy all that you want in SL but not the good taste and attitude that is inside of you, it's something that is in your DNA. The first thing you must have is a customized shape. Never buy a shape, always create it! Dare to be different! Don't be glued to a stereotypical doll look; dare to have a different style. And remember that beauty is not everything; it is personality, attitude and good taste make you unique!

Vic Zuzu: Did you make your shape by yourself?

Mimmi Boa: Of course! And also I often do the shapes for my models too when I think it's necessary.

Vic Zuzu: I wonder, when did Mimmi Boa became a supermodel?

Mimmi Boa: Well, I started to model during January 2008. And in a few months I was hired by the most important agencies. Then in December I won the Miss Virtual World Contest. Both instances happened very fast for me, but I was working hard to achieve such results. Nowadays I still have lots of work and I'm still changing Mimmi's look. I believe it's very important to rule the trends and to research the different styles and appearances that they follow. Today you see me not in my last «official» look, but in something different. The yellow dress that I am wearing right now couldn't match the skin I usually use; but this is a brand new creation from a good RL/SL friend designer I know, and yellow rules the trends for this summer.

Vic Zuzu: But still I didn't get what the difference is between simple model and supermodel? In order to become a supermodel do you have to accomplish something impressive, like winning the Miss Virtual World Contest?

Mimmi Boa: Not at all! I told you the difference is in the uniqueness, the attitude, the skills, the taste! Again, you can be as beautiful as a porcelain doll, but if you don't have the right attitude, excellent taste, and a delightful manner, then you won't be on top. Success as a model in the virtual world at times is very much like success in the real world, you need to have the right character.

Vic Zuzu: I see. But there are many models that have good taste, a unique look, and they are not supermodels.

Mimmi Boa: Well, you will see tons of models, all beautiful, all classy in appearance. But why is one a natural *Gisele Bundchen and the other not? I believe that is it is because there is something different in that person, in the way they act, their taste, their behavior, their style. I can't really describe what I had that was different from the rest; but it is probably because I work a lot, I'm reliable, I’m polite, and I’m distant from both drama and gossip.

Vic Zuzu: So, does it mean your SL work is your RL work?

Mimmi Boa: In my RL I was a model back when I was younger, and it probably helped. Nowadays I do other things in my RL, and I understand that I am too «old» to model. But the fact is I still have a habit to work with other models, a habit to pose, to walk on catwalks, to choose the best style and to try to stand out in any way.

Vic Zuzu: So does modeling in SL help you to earn money, or is it just a hobby? I heard that one AD with your face costs 10,000 L$, is it true?

Mimmi Boa: *Laughs* I did tons of ads for my friends that cost 0 L$.

Vic Zuzu: Could you tell our readers the names of current supermodels in SL? Especially male models if they exist.

Mimmi Boa: Well to be fair to other female supermodels I usually prefer to avoid naming names… But for male models? Well there is my husband Salvo Waydelich. Then there are others fabulous male models, but Salvo is the best ever!

Vic Zuzu: Is this your professional view? *Chuckles*

Mimmi Boa: Well I also have male models friends who are very famous. Jarl, Liam, Boe, Tesan, Takeshi, Daniele, Andrew, and so on. Besides I have some models in my agency that are great too. And of course I can't forget our new Mister Virtual World, Mikey Batriani.

Vic Zuzu: So you really like him?

Mimmi Boa: We have lot of male models, but Mikey is adorable, very educated and just nice! It's very important to have people around who have those types' traits.

Vic Zuzu: Ok! Let's return to you! When I see you on covers or in pictures you are always different. What do you think is better for your identity, to use different skins for each photo-shoot, or to use a single skin for everything? Should the models change their shape and skin by order?

Mimmi Boa: That is a good question! When I began my career and won the Miss Virtual World Contest I decided to be tan, because at that time very few models had bronzed skin, and I loved to be different. I kept my tan for about one year and then, all at once, decided to change. But my advice for new models is to keep the same look! It is important that people are able to recognize you. So don't follow my example, I'm bad in that sense because I change skins every day.

Vic Zuzu: Patty Cortes, the CEO of the Glance International Agency, is trying to provide an expression of ebony beauty. Would you agree that it's necessary in SL?

Mimmi Boa: I know Patty, I work for the Glance. I believe every type of person must be on stage: black, Chinese, Swedish, Russian, American etc. We need all types of women and men!

Vic Zuzu: As you have already noticed, your husband Salvo Waydelich is one of the well-known male models in SL. I wonder if there is any competition between you two in the modeling industry, and who is more famous?

Mimmi Boa: Well there is absolutely no competition or problems between us because of our modeling! Salvo was already a model when I started, and we are not in a race so I don't worry about who is more famous because it's not important in our relations.

Vic Zuzu: Do you believe in fashion contests? I notice that there are many of the same people participating in these competitions, very few new faces in my humble opinion.

Mimmi Boa: I trust only the very big contests, but I don't like contests and any competitions in general. I did the Miss Virtual World Contest because it is "THE" contest if you know what I mean, and I did Miss Bliss Couture for fun because I love the style. And still, I think everything can help you to achieve popularity, but personally I am not usually into contests.

Vic Zuzu: After a couple of years of hard work as a fabulous model, you later decided to open your own agency and the academy, why?

Mimmi Boa: Well to be clear, I didn't really make a decision to open the Evane. The last owner wanted to close the agency and asked me if I want to keep it, so I started a new project with the same name. About my fashion school, well I had tons of requests from different models, so I decided to open the academy. Personally, I can't give private lessons because I have no time, but there are very professional academy trainers on staff who help our applicants. My academy is a good school but you don't really need to hear that from me, just ask my models.

Vic Zuzu: Could you tell our readers about the projects of the Evane and SWMB fashion productions?

Mimmi Boa: Evane is going to have a great moment! I appointed a new CEO who is going to plan a fabulous fashion show and Salvo Waydelich will be involved in those productions! So, stay tuned, we will make "rumors".

Vic Zuzu: I wonder, do you remember your first fashion show and how you felt on the runway?

Mimmi Boa: Oh my! My first fashion show was for a selection of Miss Italia! *Laughs* Hell I was the only one backstage who was not nervous! Some friends and I had big fun! Then I remember my second show, which was exclusively for an Italian designer who hosted the event in one of the laggiest places in all of SL history! Yeah, was fun! *Chuckles*

Vic Zuzu: Would you agree that the best and most creative designers in SL are Italian and Japanese?

Mimmi Boa: I don't like to make selections. I can say the designers improved tremendously, and we have a lot of great designers from all over the word! I love some Italian designers; I love Chinese designers, Japanese, and some French.

Vic Zuzu: What are your favorite labels in SL?

Mimmi Boa: No way! I'm too polite to answer! I have a lot of preferred designers but I don't choose one! Currently I represent Bliss Couture on the Grid. Last year I represented Azul. I'm on the testimonial (the face) of Anubis style and Thea Tamura. I have a lot of designers I love.

Vic Zuzu: Do you believe in fashion shows? As we can see the most part of the guests in such shows are the same models (50%), designers (10%), staff (10%) and others.

Mimmi Boa: I have an agency, so for sure I believe in fashion shows and the models are the best buyers.

Vic Zuzu: So you favor fashion shows because you have an agency? Is this the only reason?

Mimmi Boa: No! Shows are a good way to sell for designers, a good way to get to know people, a good way to learn, a good way to make public relations etc.

Vic Zuzu: If the models are the best buyers does it mean that fashion industry is a closed group of models, designers and the staff who just buys and sells within this circle?

Mimmi Boa: I don't agree! I mean models want to be updated, and they spend surely more lindens than others!

Vic Zuzu: I see the Maseno project II "Garments of hope" in your pics. Would you like to tell our readers about this charity project?

Mimmi Boa: The Maseno project was born to support the "nest rescue centre" in Kenya! It's an orphanage. We raised some money to support the association and we did a great job.

Vic Zuzu: Since Fashion Victory blog is about mens fashion, I would like to ask you my traditional question; do you think men's fashion in SL exists?

Mimmi Boa: Absolutely! Besides, the most famous designer labels I see are sometimes in what Salvo buys for himself. I get crazy because of the all that creativeness! Oftentimes I go to the same male store and buy some shirts and jackets too! *Chuckles* I believe male designers are really improved and this is great because men were on the corner of fashion in the last years. Now we can start to see innovations and great male items all around!

I just adore this outfit because of the colours! This sweater was a Make Him Over Hunt (MHOH) gift. The store has other colours but this one is the best so I asked friendly designer and owner of Woe Dick Wiesel (yes, Dick) by name to return this sweater (Ill try to ask him to give it away as a gift but not sure he would agree ^^). Bukka is an awesome small japanese store! You just must to have these boots because it has different colours inside as glasses too! At first I wanted to use green colour of glasses but decided to wear awesome female gloves again so pink is much better! ^^ Btw the glasses has different modifications - you can wear it on your head, on your nose as usual and on your shirt which is very important! =) Glasses are TRASFERABLE (I hope because I have a box with transferable parts)! The box includes men and women glasses so you can also present it to your female or male friend!

This month SF design presenting you summer sandals with prim toes + sarong absolutely free! I always forget whats the name of sarong and call it sartoga! ^^ Dont know why but maybe because Sartoria + toga. ^^ Well the main thing here is sandals with prim toes! It has a hud by means of what you can change the colours of your toes! Its very cool sandals! Blue is for free now and there are also other colours for 200 L$ each: grey, tan and red. Sarong become more nice after Swaffette Firefly added the line on the bottom of it. Well its free so go and grab it! Just find my face inside the store! ^^ Btw hair is female but as you can see men can wear it too! =) It was free gift on april but now you can buy it for 200 L$ with different colours (6 packs). Also there is the same hair only for 10 L$ but only with one hair colour. The colour of the flower can be changed too.

Here is the Shogun outfit from the feudal Japan! =) With all my respect to BareRose store this costume is just awesome! I found it at GG store (one of two costumes around casual and formal clothes) and it costs 349 L$. I like it because of a nice belt prim which looks very nice. Usually belts in SL are not good! Its fine for a female body but not for a male one. Usually its just a circle around your waist. So, good to find a prim with several levels. Unfortunately you cant to play with the sword (katana?), its just for a beauty! ^^

Peace bro! Here is a nice outfit for you! =) I try to give up smoking in both lifes! Still nothing happen! ^^ But meditation sometimes helps! So! The jacket was Xmass gift from SG fashion store. It was there for a long time but unfortunately the owner (Sasha Gopheller) eventually removed it as a gift and as a colour. But still you can buy other colours and styles. Did I tell you guys Sartoria has the best jeans in SL? ^^ Now you know it! =) I hope the free tank is still at SF store. When you will go to ~~buy~~ grab the free bracelet you will see the AD with a hand from your back (also you will find other group gifts inside the store too - a necklace and a bracelet). Its so unfair! Asian Peace necklace was free for a very long time and now Ken Rosenthal wants 20 L$ for it! Shame on him! =) Very nice and quality necklace though.

Vic Zuzu: Hello Mr. Waydelich! Thank you very much you having time to accept my interview invitation for the Fashion Victory blog. I hope you won’t mind if I would call you Salvo?

Salvo Waydelich: Hello Vic! Yes, please, call me by name.

Vic Zuzu: Ok, Salvo! Have you ever seen the Male models of SL group at Flickr? What do you think how many quality male models are there?

Salvo Waydelich: Well quality models aren’t represented only by pictures on Flickr or elsewhere, sometimes people just like to post pictures for fun. I think the rate of a quality of the male models on SL is enough good. The «new» generations grow well too. To be a male model on SL is not simple!

Vic Zuzu: So you are agree the fashion of SL has women face?

Salvo Waydelich: Well as we can see women’s part of the fashion have many opportunities: a success of designers, a number of shows, a range of animations again but still fashion is fashion! Not the face but only love for beauty in all details!

Vic Zuzu: I wonder your profile picture hair is a custom work? Is it null production? Do you know the situation of the custom work of SL?

Salvo Waydelich: No, it’s not a custom work. Unfortunately the null shop disappeared after a few days and I was lucky to buy it before close. I believe models need to represent only designer’s goods not a custom work. All people must to have a possibility to wear what the designers create and they work for it every day! That’s why elite stuff mostly isn’t appreciated by the designers and simple customers. So I think it would be hard to find customized items in a current situation inside the industry.

Vic Zuzu: I know what you mean. But if the one store (null for instance) were suddenly closed and there are a lot of people who want the same style, the same quality, the same price? I can tell you I was trying to find custom designer who would like to create the same null hair but he rejected because of copyrights. I sure was very angry.

Salvo Waydelich: I believe custom stuff isn’t good not only for models but for all people. I understand you were angry but a guy who rejected your request did the right thing! I am sure you will find great hairs soon! SL is full of great and talented designers!

Vic Zuzu: In your last interview for the Confessions Model Spotlight blog you wrote next: «When I started everything was rough and what my generation learnt was learnt from the experiences we had day after day, and show after show». Does it mean you have never graduated any fashion academy or school on SL? Have you tried to graduate it and what do you think is it important now?

Salvo Waydelich: Yes I have never graduated any fashion school or academy. They were born after I was already a model. Today it’s different. There are many persons would like to become models. So it’s important for them to have some knowledge about modeling for the best way to reach their goals.

Vic Zuzu: But would you agree according to your modeling career there is no special need to have any fashion education in common to be a model on SL?

Salvo Waydelich: I think it’s important to have graduated any fashion academies or schools to be a model on SL if you are going to start your modeling career after 2 or 3 months since your rezzing day. Plus you must to have good skills at self-marketing and styling.

Vic Zuzu: Mimmi Boa is one of the most expensive models on SL and she is your wife. I don’t want to ask you about your private life but I wonder if there is any competition between you two in the modeling industry?

Salvo Waydelich: Absolutely no! We work together in the Evane agency and in the SW&MB house productions. We support and give advices each other every day! We share every single success and it makes us happy! We are together around 3 years, a very long time for SL but I feel it’s like the first day we met!

Vic Zuzu: How sweet! But was it helps in your modeling career to be her husband? Or you have got married after you became famous? Who is more famous of you two?

Salvo Waydelich: Haha! Ok! I was already well-known model when we got married. So our relations have not helped my career. She is definitely more famous than me. She won Ms. Virtual World contest and she is a great model! But first of all she is a great person which is fundamental. I love her with all my heart!

Vic Zuzu: You noticed Ms. Virtual contest; do you believe in such contests in SL?

Salvo Waydelich: Well yes, I think its important way to change the virtual life or people, but if you haven't any skills your victory won’t be enough to be outstanding person! And vice versa you can be a great model without entering any contest! I am sure that not all winners of beauty contests become outstanding models and some outstanding models never won one.

Vic Zuzu: Could you tell our readers the names of outstanding male models?

Salvo Waydelich: Oh My God! Haha! You want me to have enemies around SL!

Vic Zuzu: Well if they are really outstanding everybody must to know their names right?

Salvo Waydelich: Ok! Only in my personal opinion I like the way of modeling of Boe Cortes, Liam Netizen and Jarl Soderstrom. They are very professional. But also there are others for sure who I have not mentioned. Well and me of course, I am not the modest.

Vic Zuzu: When have you started your modeling career?

Salvo Waydelich: I became Modavia agency supermodel in December 2007.

Vic Zuzu: You are the CEO of the Evane model agency. Why you decided to open your own agency after work in premier modeling agencies? And would you like to tell our readers about the projects of the Evane?

Salvo Waydelich: I am also the owner of SW&MB house productions that works besides Evane. It’s so great to produce shows and watch how your projects grow. Evane agency will continue to produce quality shows and graduate new models. Currently we are working on one big project for the end of an August.

Vic Zuzu: Since Fashion Victory blog is about men fashion, I would like to ask you my traditional question; do you think men's fashion in SL exists?

Salvo Waydelich: Aw yes, it exists! And there are many great male designers! Of course male part of the fashion is not so huge but we survive!

Vic Zuzu: Salvo, I am very appreciating you for the interview! Thank you for your time! Would you like to say something to our readers at the conclusion of our conversation?

Here is a very nice outfit which is very unusual for me and still I like it! ^^ It was funny story about the scarf. I have red about the best scarves in SL from the profile of Boris Juneberry (House of Soho owner and designer) and decided to check it. Indeed its the best one! Look on colours, its amazing! Its turned out that the designer of it (Zeerya Pyrithea) and Boris know each other. ^^ Chucks were Make Him Over Hunt (MHOH) gift but you can use any chucks (there are a lot of on SL, even for free at Maschienenwerk store for instance, so go and grab it quickly because the store owner likes to move!). I thought I need to rid off the chucks because every store has it and dare to sell it around 200 L$ or even more when its already cost 50 L$ but as you can see I have the chucks with a nice texture so I keep it for a while! =) Gloves are female and cost only 50 $L (must have). Btw sleeves were edited by me through appearance!

OMG! I am so excited! This is my first interview! =) Lindsay Stratten is a Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the Deja Vu International (Community, Magazine and Modelling agency). One of the famous magazines in SL connected with the culture, fashion, beauty, health, trends, art, etc. She has kindly agreed to talk with me about fashion, modelling business and Deja Vu International! =) I hope all of you will like to read it and maybe it helps! =)

Vic Zuzu: Good afternoon Ms. Stratten! I am very glad and appreciate you having accepted my invitation to give an interview for the Fashion Victory blog.

Lindsay Stratten: Hello Vic! I am very glad too! Please, call me Lindsay.

Vic Zuzu: Ok, Lindsay! When I was reading the information about Deja Vu International community and the magazine at the official website there were few words about «Deja Vu philosophy». Could you describe it?

Lindsay Stratten: Deja Vu International is all about passion, power and prospect. We strive to make our readers and staffs think about fashion in a broader sense. We want them to dig deep into their creative minds and be able to express themselves through fashion. We also cover things like culture, art and technology in the magazine and through the blog. Our goal is to improve the lives of SL men and women.

Vic Zuzu: «Deja Vu Int'l» is a French name? Like Déjà Vu L'international?

Lindsay Stratten: No, It's just Deja Vu International. We were started in Japan by Daije Yiyuan (Deja Vu Int'l CEO). He started the magazine and has brought it to what it is today. It still contains a lot of Japanese articles. In fact most of the articles are in Japanese. I know this upcoming month we have an article that will be written in Italian. But we also have many English-speaking stylists, writers, designers, models, etc.

Vic Zuzu: Would you agree that most creative and best stores of SL are Japanese?

Lindsay Stratten: Hmm... I wouldn't say all of them but many of the most innovative stores are Japanese. I would say Italian and Japanese stores in Second Life are typically most creative. However I have met some amazing designers who come from all over. England, the United States, Germany, Brazil, you name it. But I would definitely say that many of the well-known, creative stores of SL are Japanese owned and operated, yes.

Vic Zuzu: How long has Deja Vu International, the magazine, existed?

Lindsay Stratten: Deja Vu Magazine has existed since late 2007, I'm unsure of the exact date. I know our second magazine release was in December of 2007. It has been consistent for many years now!

Vic Zuzu: What do you think the key characteristics for a model are? And could you explain the Deja Vu modeling view?

Lindsay Stratten: I think that a good model is one who dresses fashion forward, always behaves in public, does his/her job flawlessly, is on time, and never shows up wearing shoes older than 6 months. Haha! As for Deja Vu's view, I find that we are looking for uniqueness, edginess and something that isn't cookie cutter beautiful. We like to show a different side of Second Life, ugly pretty so to speak. It gives fashion a dark, demented twist instead of everything always being pretty and full of sunshine.

Vic Zuzu: If somebody comes to you and tells you he has never modeled for a magazine and would like to, what would you say?

Lindsay Stratten: I would probably instruct him to look into different modeling academies around SL to get a start in some training. I would also, typically, suggest a makeover or class on styling yourself as a model. Models should always be crisp and clean, but still fashionable when they go for a casting or interview. I don't think wearing a ball gown or latex bodysuit is appropriate, but I do think that a nice pair of pants (preferably denim), plain t-shirt, super-fierce pumps, and some jewelry is a great way to present yourself. After a little bit of training I would tell him to join our Wait List group and look for any upcoming castings.

Vic Zuzu: So if somebody wants to be a model for the magazine do they need to be a member of the Deja Vu International Models group?

Lindsay Stratten: Correct, unless it would be a one time casting. We have had 1 time models in the past, but if they want regular print and runway work provided by Deja Vu International they should be in the Models group. It's just one casting away...

Vic Zuzu: Do your models have to be very experienced or doesn't it matter?

Lindsay Stratten: We prefer experienced but if you are inexperienced and you can pull out all the stops... then we could consider you for a position. We are highly critical of whom we hire, we only want to represent the best of the best.

Vic Zuzu: As I can see there is a huge part of the Deja Vu community which is connected with RL fashion, so can you say that Deja Vu is not only concerned with SL fashion? Or we need to separate the community and the SL Magazine?

Lindsay Stratten: Deja Vu is very much focused on both worlds. Daije handles all of our things outside of Second Life; he comes up with people to write the articles and people to put in ads. I deal with the in-world things such as models, store ads, editorials, etc. We definitely like to give our readers a broad view of life because we know that it exists far beyond Second Life.

Vic Zuzu: Do you agree there is a huge influence of RL fashion on SL trends?

Lindsay Stratten: I think that people see what is happening in RL fashion and are unable to afford or pull off some of the looks that they see. We all would look pretty stupid walking around in a neon yellow bodysuit with huge structured shoulders and a 20 foot organza train (unless we are Lady Gaga). So here in SL we can live over the top and out of the ordinary, being able to afford it in the meantime. Buying a couture-esque gown from Chantkare can cost as little as $2.00, or getting a pair of designer pumps from LeLutka can cost $5.00 for a fat pack full of different colors. People want to look stylish, they want to represent trends and SL is the perfect place to translate that. Another thing is in SL we can all be a size zero (or whatever size we desire to be) where as RL we can't always be the height or weight we want to be; so becoming a supermodel in SL can make our RL dreams become a reality.

Vic Zuzu: Could you tell our readers about new Deja Vu agency? And maybe about some future projects of the agency or Deja Vu in common?

Lindsay Stratten: Well, Deja Vu International Models is casting new models this Saturday, and we cast some today as well. Our goal is to be able to provide up and coming models with new opportunities in editorials, ad campaigns, live modeling and runway shows. But we also have a lot of well known names such as Poptart Lilliehook (Modavia Fashion Marketing CEO), Phillip Dollinger (5th Avenue CEO), and the new winner of Mr. Virtual World, Mikey Batriani. As for future events, the Deja Vu International Productions team is slowly being assembled; we have completely revamped Deja Vu International and added departments to it to expand our name throughout the world of SL. Once we have all of our staff hired we will be starting to send out information to designers about shows. An idea that we are working on right now is for both the productions and magazine portion. We are offering new designers discounts on ad pages and show productions; our newer models will also be used for their shows and campaigns alongside with well-known models. We believe that SL can't always be about the well-known, we have to mix it up so that we can take unknowns and make them well-known.

Vic Zuzu: You noticed Mr. Virtual World contest; do you believe in such contests in SL?

Lindsay Stratten: Oh yes. I, personally, love these contests. I think it, again, gives unknown models and people in SL a chance to be heard and recognized. So many people try to make it and don't always succeed, which is sad because there is so much passion in some of them... it just isn't recognized. I am definately a huge fan of Mr. Virtual World and Miss Virtual World. Frolic Mills (BOSL & CO CEO) has done a great job with both contests and it is great to see how it turns out each year.

Vic Zuzu: Since Fashion Victory blog is about men fashion, do you think men's fashion in SL exists?

Lindsay Stratten: Oh sure, of course I think men's fashion exists in Second Life! I have seen some really phenomenal men's runway shows that have had pieces that blew my mind. I know men's selections are very slim in SL. Some designers that I have seen who really make amazing clothing for men are Cheerno & Aoharu. I constantly see them both worn on men of SL and the quality of work is amazing. Also, Armidi has flown off the radar a bit but the quality of work they put out in their men’s clothing is impeccable.

Lindsay Stratten: Just as a few ending words of inspiration, never be afraid to go after your dreams in SL because this is where dreams become a reality. Last night Kreolita Decosta invited me on the gothic party at "No Salvation" club! =) It was so strange for me because it was the first time I had come to such place! =) But still it was fun! She was making Live TV for her site. I nedded some quick outfit for the party and I choose this one with long hair. I was searching more quality shoes but only this one is enough small for the pants without prims. In other way the pants will stuck on the shoes top which looks awful. When I was creating this outfit I thought I would use only black glasses but suddenly (as always) when I tried different colours of it I saw blue glass and WOW! Look how it refresh the face! After suicide of the null store by name (still very upset ^^) I can say Soho Metro Murse shoulderbag by Boris Juneberry is one of the best one in SL (and cost only 299 L$)! Unfortunately the House of Soho has only one bag but as you can see with different colours and modifications (with glasses or without). You cant wear that glasses btw its only for beauty. =) I wore mine! ^^ Dont forget to go and grab very quality WHITE cardigan from Prodigal (free opening gift)!

I worried about do I need to post these pics or not because its not so good as I usually post! But still I am on it so! =) You can go to Aidoru store and buy these neckalces for 160 L$ each. Well its definitely not my taste and not my quality but still the "Caution!" necklace is enough fine and looks nice for so called "Urban" style. The "Charmant" necklace is fine too but its formed badly, just a circle around your neck. Very friendly designer Jaraloy Swords by name was talking about the contest for models, she even put my face on the contest board for customers to receive a notecard about it. Nice outfit for the HOT weather! =) This hair btw is cost only 1L$ so go and grab it (there are three colours: blonde, gray and brown)! I dont understand the owner when he call it "free gift", like I dont understand others - free is free = 0L$! =) I put the SLURL only of the small Arai store because main store of it looks like a city. I dont like such stores (Muism for instance) when you have to search stuff through many buildings, its annoying! Especially when you have low gpaphics preferences and cant see far borders. ^^ I know nothing about the motorcycle so dont even try to ask! I hope it works! =) The store looks nice though.

When I needed to take a shot by Vessus Candour the owner and designer of the Lag Designs store for his annual catalogue I had chosen this pose and hair and suddenly saw a true art! =) I think his hairs is kinda old and outdated, maximum you can use it if you are going to play some RP with vampires for instance. So it was hard to use it for modern outfits, but as you can see I use it in a pure way! ^^ I suggested him to use this picture for the cover of the catalogue, because its really creative but he said he usually prefer to use his own shots. I like you Armidi! I know you are expensive and still I like you! Patty Cortes the CEO of Glance International Agency would say its very simple outfit. But I prefer to call it fresh style which has not so many accessories. I dont understand guys who wear all they cant afford in RL: piercings, tattos, jeans with gaps etc. Better to use minimum but classy. Some of my friends think its very feminine look but I like unisex style! This hair is male btw. No need to talk about the quality of Armidi, usually its a high class, but kinda expensive for such simple cardigan without prims for instance. And now the bag! Its from B.O.S. - the store which was reopened after some break (as I know). Its funny bag, on the one side you can see "Gucci" brand and on the little lock you can notice "Fendi"! :D VERY expensive bags for such quality - from 750 till 1000 L$ or even more. I asked the friendly owner (Holly Somerset) allow me to resize it because male bags must to be much bigger then the purses of B.O.S. I hope he will do it for all male customers! =)

Hey! Try to find me into SF design store on the one of the ADs! The box includes enough nice and well formed red shorts with prim legs + quality white and red tank absolutely FREE! There are other colours of the shorts too: stone, steel, olive, black and white (not sure about the tank). I am very proud that Swaffette Firefly (SF owner and designer) allowed me to participate in the creation of the tank because at first it was shirt with prim cuffs and now as a tank it looks much better! Come and grab it! =)

Ok! Here we go! This fabulous coat is from Sartoria store. I think I have never seen the same quality in other stores. Of course this coat use skirt but not prim and still I like it. Most stores have winter jackets and here we can see the example of an autumn coat for a rainy weather! With this outfit you can use umbrella (if you find it) or a bag (if you find quality one). The pair of black gloves will wait you in the box. The coat has turtleneck too but I prefer to use Gisaci (Armidi) which looks more classy because of the neck prim.
